About
I'm a 26 year-old journalist based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Originally from Leicester, I fled to Scotland for university in 2014 and graduated in 2018 with a first in MA (Hons) English Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
After graduating I worked as a freelance journalist - writing news and features for The Scotsman, Dazed Digital, Insider, The Skinny, Screen Shot, Digital Spy, Candide and B2B magazine Scottish Grocer. As part of the team at The Skotia, I helped produce and design new media content for audio, video and social media.
From June 2021 to April 2022, I was employed as a Search & Trends Writer at The Scotsman and the Edinburgh Evening News - writing successful SEO explainers on current affairs, technology, finance, consumer affairs and pop culture, as well as features about technology and digital culture for Scotland on Sunday.
In May 2022 I will be working as a Journalism Researcher in the BBC's Technology and Innovation team, alongside studying for my NCTJ Diploma in Journalism via distance-learning.
Please get in touch via email/my Contact page if you enjoy my writing and would like to discuss any potential opportunities for collaborative or commissioned work.
